30 years in business and what a journey!

You may have never visited Midwest Laser Centre (502 Wellman Crescent, Saskatoon), but chances are you have heard of the clinic: Midwest was in fact the first cosmetic laser clinic in the province and one of the first in Canada.

But we are renowned for much more than that, having introduced western Canada to the newest technologies in skin and hair lasers since 1988. This includes being one of the first Saskatoon clinics to treat patients with cosmetic Botox. Our medical directors and technicians have been trail blazers in this industry. Our founders, Dr. G Boey and Dr. D. Will were imperative in the development of the cosmetic laser industry.

Midwest Laser Centre is soon marking a milestone: in November, the renowned clinic marks 30 years in business. That’s no small feat in an industry that has exploded and where competition is fierce and new clinics are opening all the time. In the last year, the clinic has seen many changes including moving from our 2nd Ave location into a beautiful new facility to provide more opportunity for our patients.

“One of the most enjoyable and important aspects of being a physician has been the ability to help people” says Dr. Stewart. “When clients experience non-surgical cosmetic procedures it is humbling to be involved in their transformation and be able to watch their self-esteem grow.”

In celebration of our 30th anniversary, Midwest Laser Centre will launch an entire month of celebrations, promotions, and fun facts about the clinic.
